| It is a beautiful sunshiny day here in Arcata, and I think I'll go for a drive up the coast. I'll stop and turn my treefrogs loose on the way. Should be fun. I can't help but be a little sad because I wish my adorable girlfriend Sarah could be along for the ride. God allowed me to meet the perfect girl for me, yet she is far away right now and for the moment I will have to deal with it. I cannot wait to see her again. And now she is on the phone and that makes me so so happy. | | |

but the biggest: 12)God's gift of salvation and God's answered prayers (most specifically item #1 above: my amazing, beautiful, girlfriend Sarah whom I love soo much.) For these I am extra thankful.

| Got back to Humboldt despite my car having other plans. Got to spend a few extra days with my parents though and have some good talks so that was a blessing. Feels a bit strange to be back after a full month. The Mexico mission trip was awesome and I now have the raddest girlfriend in the world. The week in Flagstaff with Sarah was also so great though it went by way too fast. Now I miss her but look forward to seeing her soon and also her getting to visit Humboldt. Thank God for Navajo taco night!

| Tommorrow I leave Humboldt at 5:00 am and make the trip to San Diego in one long haul. Hopefully it goes well. I am excited to go home again and see my little bro and parents. I may also see some old school buddies which would be cool. Besides that though, I am super excited to see my good buddy Sarah (whom I have not seen since mid August) out in Flagstaff. Also I get to see her bust some Espanol in Culiacan, and after hang out with her and do cool stuff like hikes, watch freaks and geeks, get rad friend fishes, and more in Flag. I have been looking forward to this for awhile now and it all makes me very happy.
PS ;Don't actually own any Phish, but thought it was funny.
And now Sarah has just called and this also makes me happy so adios

| Finished my guitar final on Monday and Music and World Cultures today, both of which I did well on. One more final tomorrow which I'm not stressing. Hooray! Then I went for a 2 hour tree reconnaissance hike in the forest behind my apartment. After 2:00 tommorrow I will be just chilling so I might visit the beach and go on some more hikes. Each day a little closer to coming out to AZ and Mexico trip. So stoked! Having a great day and hope anyone who reads this is as well.
P.S. For my final today I had to listen to several kinds of world music including one example of son huasteco. While I don't own the particular cd I found, I think it may be the same band and I highly recommend this style
